    The Arietis – Les Crozats residence is ideally located in the heights of the Avoriaz resort. The 39 one- to two-bedroom apartments enjoy magnificent panoramic views over the resort. 

    The apartments have been decorated in a chalet style with a twist. They are inviting and provide large living spaces. The warmth of the wood, natural materials and little contemporary touches have a unique alchemy.

    The residence’s architecture works in beautiful harmony with the resort’s, with the same multi-level roofs to contain snow, red cedar wood facades and balconies with insulating thermal breaks.

    When you become an owner with Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs, you will sign a 10-year lease(6) with the group en enjoy the benefits of simplified managment:

    • Rent is secured(7) : you'll be paid rent, whether your apartment is occupied or not. Insurance, expenses are covered by the group : you only have to pay property tax or income-related tax.
    • Your property is looked after by local teams who manage its maintenance, routine upkeep and housekeeping.
    • Once the lease is up, you can sign a new one to ensure the Group keeps managing your property or you can sell on your property.

    As an owner, you get certain privileges:

    • A personal online account for managing holiday bookings in your property or in another of the Group's residences
    • Exclusive discounts, so you can enjoy your stays even more

    (6) The lease binding the owner and the operator is a commercial lease, subject in this respect to the provisions of articles L.145-1 to L.145-60 of the French Commercial Code. The lessor may refuse the renewal of the lease concluded with the operator of the tourism residence. However, in this case, subject to the exceptions laid out in Articles L.145-17 and following the French Commercial Code, he shall pay the operator an eviction indemnity equal to the loss caused by the lack of renewal. The method of calculating this allowance is set out in the second paragraph of the above-mentioned article L.145-14. (7) Guaranteed rent through a commercial lease of 10 years (excluding standard co-ownership and maintenance charges, excluding property tax).

    Avoriaz is a car-free resort perched above Morzine. This haven for children makes for a unique holiday destination. Built entirely of rock, wood and snow, it blends beautifully into the landscape. Its latest-generation equipment means that all snow sports are catered for. Avoriaz is bestowed with a contemporary atmosphere thanks to its two major events, Rock on the Pistes which attracts top rock musicians, and Avoriaz Jazz Cabaret, which features a week of concerts that gives the resort an irresistible jazz beat.

    Cultural activities

    Think of holidays in Avoriaz and the first thing you think of is skiing. With more than 650 km of slopes, you will have more than enough runs to practise on. As well as the downhill and cross-country trails, there are lots of sports activities on offer, including hikes, ice skating, snow-covered mountain biking trails, night time luge and even dives in ice-covered lakes.
    When summer comes, the resort turns into a wide-open green space for all sorts of outdoor activities, such as walks and horse rides, via ferrata, river swimming, rafting, canyoning and hang-gliding, to name just a few. If you would like to add a touch of culture to your stay in Avoriaz, make sure you check out Notre-Dame-des-Prisonniers chapel, which was built in 1960, and the tourist office’s bell tower.


    The Savoie region is overflowing with produce of the terroir. Raw milk cheeses from Alpine pastures are irresistibly mouth-watering, and they include Beaufort, Tomme de Savoie, Tome des Bauges and Reblochon. Savouries such as pormonier pork sausages, donkey and goat’s meat sausages, diot sausages and fried potatoes in herbs count among the region’s specialties. Savoie is also has vineyards producing white and red wines. Think Chignin Bergeron, Apremont and Abyme for whites, or Mondeuse, Gamay and Pinot for reds.
