As part of the Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs Group, environmentally responsible operation is pertinent to everything we do. This is why Pierre & Vacances Property Investment ensures that all of its projects are created with sustainable development in mind – from construction through to operation.
As part of our commitment to providing sustainable investment programmes, we work in line with our Group’s three key criteria (Groupepvcp.com). First of all, we aim to achieve BBC, EPC or HQE certification on each of our residences (BBC: Building with Low Energy Consumption, EPC: Energy Performance Certification, HQE: High Environmental Quality). This helps us fight climate change by avoiding excessive energy use or wastage. We also have policies in place to motivate all individuals, including clients, to reduce their carbon footprint on a daily basis.
The preservation of natural resources also plays a role in the construction and operation of every site. During construction, we aim to use sustainable materials that can easily be sourced in the long term. When appropriate, we also use local materials to reduce transport emissions and ensure that our residences integrate well into their surrounding regions. Furthermore, our sites are operated in a way that reduces drinking water consumptions and optimises waste management to promote recycling.
A durable investment
Our commitment to sustainable development also ensures that you make responsible and long-lasting investments. With many European governments concerned about the environment, it is financially wise to choose environmentally-conscious investments to ensure that your assets will remain profitable in the future. Selecting any property offered by Pierre & Vacances Property Investment means an environmentally and financially sustainable investment.
